The CLEAR ACT (Clean Efficient Automobiles Resulting from Advanced Car Technologies Act) is an effort to accelerate the development of eco-friendly automotive technologies and their assimilation into the automotive market by providing strategic tax breaks and incentives to consumers and infrastructure developers.
The purpose of the CLEAR ACT is to "promote cleaner air by reducing the consumption of petroleum and advancing alternate fuels."
The automotive technologies promoted by the CLEAR ACT are those used in fuel cell vehicles, which use compressed hydrogen gas to generate electricity to power an electric motor; hybrid electric vehicles, which use an electric motor to assist a gasoline powered engine; dedicated alternative fuel vehicles, which use alternative fuels such as natural gas, LPG, and LNG to power a combustion engine; and battery electric vehicles, which rely on an onboard rechargeable battery to power an electric motor.
Through the use of the tax incentives detailed below, the CLEAR ACT would lower the major barriers associated with acceptance of alternative fuel technologies; the higher cost of the vehicles, the lack of fueling stations providing alternative fuels, (also known as infrastructure) and the higher cost of alternative fuels.
A $4,000 base tax credit awarded for the purchase of a
fuel cell vehicle, and an additional credit of up to $4,000; depending on the fuel economy performance.
A $1,000 base tax credit awarded for the purchase hybrid electric fuel vehicle, and an additional credit of up to $3,000; depending on fuel economy.
A $2,500 base tax credit awarded for the purchase of a dedicated alternative fuel vehicle, and an additional credit of up to $1,500 for AFV's that achieve a Super Ultra Low Emissions rating.
A $4,000 base tax credit awarded for the purchase of a battery electric vehicle, and an additional credit of up to $2,000 for vehicles with extended range or payload capabilities.
The CLEAR ACT offers a range of credits for medium and heavy duty vehicles. Fuel cell or battery electric medium or heavy duty vehicles earn a tax credit of up to $40,000; medium or heavy alternative fuel vehicles earn a tax credit of up to $32,000; and medium or heavy hybrid electric vehicles earn a tax credit of up to $24,000.
A credit of 50 cents for every gallon of gas equivalent is provided to retail distributors will be provided for 6 years as an incentive.
In addition to the fuel credit, the CLEAR ACT provides a credit of up to $30,000 to assist with the actual costs of installing an alternative fuel site that is available to the public.

43.Donor Insemination – Infertility Niche Business
Have you ever heard of the term "donor insemination"? You may not know the procedure by that very stately term, but chances are you're familiar with the process once it's been explained.
Donor insemination is the placement of a sperm within a woman's uterus which ahs been obtained through a sperm donor. The origin of this sperm, more often than not, is not the woman's partner. Usually the sperm is obtained through a sperm back or it may come from a known 'sperm donor.
See, I told you that you'd be familiar with the process if not the name.
Obviously, this option to a conventional traditional pregnancy is not for couples where the women is experiencing problems in fertilizing an egg or carrying an embryo and fetus to full time.
For the most part, this option is chosen by those couples in which the male partner is infertile while the female partner has no fertility issues. It may also be an option for two females in a same-sex relationship who choose to raise a family. And there are some single women who want to be parents, but are not in a place in their lives where they've found their ideal partner.
The process itself.
So what exactly is involved in this procedure? The initial step is the selection of a sperm from a sperm bank. You'd be surprised at the number of sperm banks available to choose from. The sheer number of them existing means -- almost by default -- that some of them are better sources than others.
These banks indeed run the gamut when it comes to the number of donors available, the quality and quantity of the information of the donor as well as the eventual availability of the donor's identification.
You'd be pleasantly surprised to learn that sperm banks must meet certain requirements in a number of areas, not the least of these is in the area of infectious diseases.
But the banks go one step further than just though too. Sperm banks considered to be certified must met specific requirements when it comes to these diseases. In addition to that, sperm entering the bank is "quarantined" for a certain time period.

Research, in fact, is finally aimed in this direction to determine just how large of a role proper nutrition and health eating habits have.
Recently, the well-respected research project, The Nurses Health Study, sponsored by the Harvard School of Public Health, examined nearly 19,000 female nurses. All were actually trying to get pregnant. The study looked at the diets and the eventual ability to conceive. The goal was to find a nutritional link to fertility.
Some clear patterns emerged that you need to know about -- and follow! The first is that the nurses who did eventually get pregnant were more likely to be taking a multiple vitamin supplement which included folic acid, a member of the B-complex of vitamins.
While the benefits of taking folic acid during a pregnancy have long been known, this is the first time it's been suggested that the B-vitamin might be of value in order to get pregnant. Folic acid deficiency is associated with an increased risk of the birth defect spinal bifida.
Similarly, those nurses who consumed foods rich in iron also ended up conceiving. Here, though, there's a catch, as it were. Their conception, believe it or not, depended in large part on the source of the iron. The women who were most likely to conceive received their iron from fruits, vegetables and beans.
Iron derived from red meat or processed foods actually appeared to decrease the odds of a woman getting pregnant -- at least for these particular women in the study.
Even iron received through supplementation improved the odds of a pregnancy more than iron received through the consumption of meat.

Ideally, he added, the goal is no trans-fat, but in considering the average lifestyle in our society as well as the proliferation of fast foods and processed, packaged and convenience foods, that would be difficult.

The term comes from the Latin "myo" which refers to muscle. The "fascia": portion of this word means "band." And no even before you ask not the rock and roll bands!
The band in this instance is the band of fibrous connective tissue, which is actually called the fascia. This tissue surrounds the various muscles of your body -- all parts of your body.
Both dense and elastic, sheaths of this connective tissue weave about your blood vesels, bones, as well as your neres. They form a complex, three dimensional web that supports your organs and your joints from your head to your toe. You can think of fascia as your body's shock absorber.
So you can probably recognize already that this part of your body is going to "take a lickin' and keep on tickin'" as those old Timex commercials used to tell us.

As with most disorder and health conditions, you can experience varying degrees of severity from mild to severe. The truth is some women have endometriosis and experience absolutely no symptoms. Some of these women have discovered they have the condition only when they undergo an unrelated operation.

Other women experience a few or all of the symptoms of endometrius. They include the following:
Painful periods, known in medical terms as dysmenorrhea.

Several years ago a study on the presence of polyps and infertility was published in the professional journal Human Reproduction. It showed that following removal of the polyps, women got pregnant at about twice the rate of those who did not undergo the removal.
In fact, the study noted, once the polyps were removed many got pregnant without the aid of artificial insemination.
